Charles Rosen’s conference in Turin

December 11th, 2007 · No Comments

Just to quote Garulf’s post, a pianist must be curious and, I think, he should be curious not only for pianos, but as far as all the musical aspects are concerned. So, in order to satisfy your curiousity, I suggest you all to go and listen to the meeting given by Charles Rosen the 10th January 2008, at 16:00, in the Sala Lauree of the Facoltà di Scienze della Formazione, in Turin. The famous American musicologist and pianist offers a conference titled “The Sense of Time in the Music of Elliott Carter”; the event is organized by UniTo and Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale Rai, and included in the contemporary music program Rai NuovaMusica. I’m sure it will be really interesting, and I’ll try my best to be able to go!
